All was over…just done the report..

28/9/2008......Today is my presentation…quite nervous..i’am was prepared my slide one week early before the presentation…just a simple one but I think it was enough complete to be presented...everything run smoothly same like I am imagine for today…try to be the best presenter but I think still I can’t…because I am not really in a good condition…I try to give my best…next week my report must be submit…do it slowly and rasional…no need to rush..just be calm.for my self…I wish you good luck for the report and for your final exam…GOGO CHAYO!!!.

History of My College- MARA Profesional College Indera Mahkota, Kuantan

Kolej Profesional MARA was formerly known as Institut Perdagangan Mara (IPM) and established in May 1977 and its current administrative centre is Bahagian Pendidikan Tinggi MARA (BPT). Since its establishment until the end of July 1982, IPM was located at Level 2, Sing Hoe Motor Building, Jalan Ipoh, Kuala Lumpur. The College has been developing and expanding since its inception, which started with 100 students for the first batch with 4 lecturers.It is a fully government-assisted college that was established to increase the number of Bumiputera workers in the public and private sectors, particularly in the field of business, accounting and information technology. It is also aimed at enhancing academic excellence among Bumiputera students who have attained moderate results in their SPM. The four colleges throughout Malaysia are:

- KPM Beranang (KPMB) in Beranang, Selangor Darul Ehsan.
- KPM Melaka (KPMM) in Melaka town, Melaka.
- KPM Indera Mahkota (KPMIM) in Kuantan, Pahang Darul Makmur.
- KPM Seri Iskandar (KPMSI) in Bota, Perak Darul Ridzuan.
- KPM Bandar Penawar (KPMBP) in Johor Darul Takzim*New

KPM only conducts full-time courses and its medium of instruction is English. The courses offered are:

* Higher National Diploma in Computing (Business Information Technology)(HND BIT)
* Higher National Diploma in Business & Computing (HND BCom)
* Higher National Diploma in Businesss & Marketing (HND BMk)
* Higher National Diploma in Business & e-Commerce (HND BeC)
* Diploma in Accountancy (DIA)
* Diploma in Business Studies (DBS)
* Diploma in Agro-Business (DAB)
* Diploma in Entrepreneurship (DEn)
* Diploma In English Communication (DECom)
* Diploma In Business and Computer Networking System (DBN)
* Preparatory Intensive Program Intensif Persediaan (PIP)

The courses that are accredited by the Lembaga Akreditasi Negara (LAN) and recognised by Jabatan Perkhidmatan Awam (JPA) are as follows:

HND BIT
FHND BIT
DIA
DECom

All the other courses will eventually be accredited. The modules of the various programmes at KPM would enable the diploma graduates either to enter the job market or to further their studies at a degree level locally or abroad.
